Sacred Trail

The Sacred Trail abounds with churches which are numerous around Kraków. Those which witnessed the region’s rich history, listened to the prayers for generations, captivate with the charms of historic styles, adorned by old masters who are now forgotten, sites of importance to the local communities, are particularly noteworthy.
Wooden churches in Wola Radziszowska and Krzęcin are unique for materials used for their construction. One shouldn’t miss the churches in Skawina, Radziszów, Świątniki Górne, Mogilany and Czernichów, marked for their Baroque interior decor. The Chapel of the Rosary in Czernichów, originally built as a sepulchral chapel, also needs to be mentioned.
