The History of Economic Development Trail is also named the Trail of Świątniki padlock and Skawina coffee, to stress the importance of crafts and methods of management that once were considered modern inventions. One stop on the trail is
the Marcin Mikuła Locksmithery Museum in Świątniki Górne, illustrating the work of Świątniki locksmiths and rules of operation of the Locksmithery School. Exhibits from the Franck & Sons Factory can be seen at
the Regional Museum in Skawina. The exhibition at
the Agricultural School in Czernichów illustrates the history of the School and the activity of Saving Funds.
The PKP Railway Station symbolises the beginning of the town’s industrial development. Various factories and plants began to be built here after the construction of a railway line in 1884.
